  1. General Terms: (Not Applicable to Office Solutions Products)
    1. Warranty is provided for products purchased and located only in Hong Kong SAR and Macau by S.A.S. Electric Company Limited (“SAS”). Customer must register product warranty within 30 days from the date of purchase to enjoy warranty.
    2. Please keep and present the product warranty card together with the official invoice/receipt to our technician.
    3. Warranty includes free parts provided and replacement of defective parts under normal usage except: cabinet, knobs, removable accessories, batteries, consumable, AC cord, connecting cords and other cosmetic accessories, etc.
    4. Replaced parts will become the property of SAS.
    5. This warranty will become null and void if: damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident or natural disasters; product has been installed or operated not following the original instruction manual; product has been repaired/altered/tampered with or modified by unauthorized persons; serial number has been altered, effaced or removed; or the company is not informed of any change of address or ownership of the product.
    6. Service will only be provided under a safe working environment.
    7. It is strongly recommended that separate permanent written records should be kept for all important data. Data may be lost or altered in virtually any electric memory product under certain circumstances. Therefore, it is assumed no responsibility for data lost or otherwise rendered unusable whether as a result of improper use, repairs, defects, battery replacement, use after the specified battery life has expired, or any other causes. Also, it is assumed no responsibilities directly or indirectly for financial losses or claims from third persons resulting from the use of this product and any of its functions, such as stolen credit card numbers, loss or alteration of stored data, etc.
    8. SAS is not liable for any loss directly or consequential arising from breakdown of the products.
    9. For service on outlying islands or area inaccessible by public transport in Hong Kong, an additional traveling fee will be levied. In case workshop service is needed, customer will be responsible for transporting the product to and from our Customer Service Centre.
    10. For small products such as Hair Dryer, Rice Cooker, Ultrasonic Washer, Vacuum Cleaner, Smart Phone, etc, only carry-in will be provided.
    11. For the products out of Hong Kong and Macau areas, all insurance, shipping charges, postage, transportation charges and other related expenses are at owner’s account.
    12. All the rights of the warranty are non-transferable.
    13. In any event, the paid fee is non-refundable.
    14. The terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

          3-Year warranty. Warranty does not include machine cleaning, drainpipe cleaning or installation / dismantle service. Compressor is warranted for 5 years.
      2. Split Type Air-Conditioner (Including Window-Split Type)
        • Purchase on or after 01 March 2010
          1-Year warranty. Warranty does not include machine cleaning, drainpipe cleaning or installation / dismantle service. Compressor is warranted for 5 years.
        • Purchase on or after 01 April 2019
          2-Year warranty. Warranty does not include machine cleaning, drainpipe cleaning or installation / dismantle service. Compressor is warranted for 5 years.
      3. Refrigerator
        • Purchase on or after 01 July 2007
        • 5-Year warranty
      4. Dehumidifier
        2-Year warranty. Warranty does not include air-filter or machine cleaning.
      5. Air Purifier / Ion Generator
        Warranty does not include air-filter or machine cleaning. Only carry-in will be provided for Car Ion Generator and Portable Ion Generator.

        2-Year carry-in warranty. Warranty excludes accessories (e.g. measuring cup, rice scoop, steaming basket, etc.), removable accessories (inner lid, lid packing, steam cap, handle, etc.) and inner pot.
      11. Ultrasonic Washer
        1-Year carry-in warranty.
      12. Vacuum Cleaner
        2-Year carry-in warranty. 6 months warranty for Battery. Warranty excludes accessories (e.g. suction head, pipe, duster nozzle, crevice nozzle, charger, cleaning brush, etc.)
    3. Smart Phone
      1. Carry-in warranty only from the date of purchase. 12 months warranty for handset and embedded battery. 6 months for charger. 3 months for data cable.
      2. Warranty is valid only for authorized product; parallel import and counterfeit product are invalid.
      3. Warranty does not cover defects arising from natural wear of the product Including casing, key pad, display, data cable and accessories, etc.
      4. Customer is responsible for all data backup prior to any repair service. S.A.S. Electric Co. Ltd. is not liable for any consequential data loss or damages caused during inspection or repair service performed.

    According to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have a right to check and change your personal data hold by the company; and to stop receiving any promotional materials (other than extended warranty service invitation). If you want to process the rights please write to our maintenance section (stating your model & serial no.) for follow up your case.
