Here's how it works. You tell the search service what you're
looking for by:
Choosing information categories
from the selectbox : General
Information Product
Information Product
FAQs Drivers
& Patches
Typing in keywords, phrases,
or questions in the search box
The search service responds by giving you
a list of all the Web pages in our index relating to those
topics. For general information, the most relevant results
will appear at the top of your results. For other information,
the results will appear without any sorting order. Our search
is not case sensitive and your query can be up to 255 characters
long.
How
to Use
Step 1
Choose on information categories from
the selectbox "please choose";
Step 2
Type your keyword or phases in the search
box "input keyword";
Step 3
Press the Search button to start your
search.
Here's an example:
1. Select Product Information
from the "please choose" box.
2. Type LCD in the "input keyword"
box.
3. Press the Search button
or press the Enter key.
4. The Results page will be displayed and you can browse the
page content by clicking any page link. Search Tips
Searching for phases
You can search for any phrase for all
information categories without enclosing any double
quotes ("like this");
You can also create phrases using punctuation
or special characters such as hyphens (-) slashes (/)
periods (.) equal signs (=), apostrophes ('), underscore
lined (_), commad (,) and dots (.);
You can link words and numbers together
into phrases if you want specific words or numbers to
appear together in your result pages.
Here's an example:
1. 15" LCD Monitor
2. MD Player
Searching for keywords
You can search for one or more keyword(s)
for General Information ONLY;
The keyword can be a combination of letters and numbers;
You can perform a boolean search by applying
the syntax: "and" and "or" between the keywords.
Here's an example:
1. Monitor and Microwave
2. Photocopier or Printer
