SRH pursues Sharp's global environmental
strategy on minimizing the environmental impact of our products
by continually suggesting and giving advises on improving
product technologies, designs, and programs aimed at environmental
conservation. SRH also promote and educate our customers about
the environmental protection concept by continuously launching
and marketing of environmental friendly products.
SRH's Green Committee was officially set
up in 1999 under the endorsement of the Top Management.
Representatives from various departments across the organization
are voluntary elected to accomplish the mission of building
up staff awareness through campaigns, publicity, seminars
and / or action programs, in maximizing recycling, minimizing
waste and saving energy in the workplace and home.
In Japan, Sharp Corporation established the corporate creed
of "Creating an Environmentally Conscious Company with Sincerity
and Creativity" in 1992, and have remained committed to the
ideals of environmental preservation ever since. Now, at the
beginning of the 21st century, we must continue to implement
policies that integrate sound corporate management with encouragement
for the preservation of the environment. This approach demands
that all business activities of global Sharp affiliates be
"green".
